Manly or not, hobbies can bring you joy, increase your eye for detail, keep your mind sharp, expand your creativity, and help you meet friends/babes and learn valuable skills. They add interest to your life and help you become a more well-rounded man. Contact Us
When a guy lives an active lifestyle, doing things he is passionate about, life will seem a lot more fulfilling whether your hobby is manly or not. Because everybody needs a hobby. However, a hobby is only rewarding if you make the most of it. If you make your hobby a chore, it’s not going to be very rewarding anymore. I also wouldn’t get into too many hobbies at once- spreading the appropriate ones out over the seasons is best so that it doesn’t become so redundant. Nevertheless, a man with hobbies is a man that seeks a well-balanced life. www.NewHobbyIdea.com

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!

Do you need to have a place at his home where he can get away from all the noise, and relax while watching the game? That place where you can have the guys over for a little card game, in your own space without the interruptions that you have become accustomed to.
You need your space... To do what you want... when you want to do it!

Manly Hobbies/The Manly Man

A Manly Mans honor will traditionally consist of having a reputation judged worthy of respect and admiration by a group of equal peers who share the same codes and standards. His honor has become a concept almost entirely synonymous with personal integrity and is more powerful than all the rules and laws of the land in shaping the human behavior of the manly man. In earlier times, these standards were based on strength, courage, determination, and dedication and they still hold true to this day. At an individual level, masculinity refers to how successfully a person conforms to the social expectations for the man, and at broader levels it denotes how successful structures and practices preserve the gender order in which men predominate and the cultural attributes of manliness hold sway.

A man’s desire to be manly will never really have to do with women in general or their opinion of him. Basing their lives around the opinions of women is exactly where men have gone wrong these last few decades. A man will seek and fine true manliness only out of his desire for confidence, honor, and self-respect. His strength of character and intelligence will grant him all the success he will ever need in life, allowing him to make more money and meet more women than girly men. A real man knows his place in the world and understands what has to be done at all times to maintain his respect and dignity. He does not question his fate, and instead goes about his life with a sense of determination and righteousness. With that in mind, a he also has his own ideas and is able to think outside of the box at will.

Girls-On Being Manly

10 Ways To Be A More Manly Man

By roastedpinebark
Well men, I've asked a variety of women about the ten best characteristics that makes a man more manly and a pattern started to emerge. There is really quite an array of characteristics that can define manliness but, as every man's "taste" in women is different, so are women's "tastes" in men.
  1. Confidence-Honestly, confidence is number one for a reason. Girls generally don't think men are manly if they don't have any confidence and even guys that are total dweebs, in many cases, can still attract gals by displaying this characteristic. Ways that guys can better gain and have confidence is by being happy about who you are and just being yourself (as cheesy as it sounds).

Manly is an adjective used to describe the physical and psychological characteristics of individuals traditionally associated with men, such as courage, , and strength. Manliness differs from masculinity in that as the latter refers to a simple biological predestination, the former is often used to describe the more sublime ideals of qualities traditionally specific to men. All males are masculine in that they are sexually male. Yet manliness looks down upon males not exhibiting full characteristics of manliness. Standards of strictly masculine and higher manly behavior have changed over time and vary a great deal depending on cultural values, upbringing and personal beliefs.

Manly/Guy Hobbies

Some will think that the word hobby shouldn’t even be in the same sentence as manly because old school thinking in reference to someone sitting a chair crocheting. But that thinking is not true at all by today`s standards. Crocheting is not really considered a manly hobby by today`s standards either but there is a lot of men doing it.

It seems like it was around WW2 that things changed as far as what was considered to be a manly thing for men only. Before that woman were considered home makers. During the war though, all the men went off to fight and the women were the only replacements to do the work in the factories and support the war effort. Not to mention the fact that women took over the Baseball Federation during the war. Soon people of the world realized that women could do the work just as well as most of the men and great conflicts arose when the war was over and the men came home to get their jobs back.
